A Note from Connect Leadership

Greetings HPE Community Members!

Dear Community Members,

I cannot believe we are now in July; we have had the longest day of sunshine in the year (Summer Solstice), and many of you would have taken the opportunity for a long weekend for the 4th of July celebrations.

I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed your visit to Discover this year and took in the Connect booth to meet with your peers and experience the incredibly special and marvelous working dogs again.

Work continues now for NonStop TBC in September, and I will be joining you all for the first time and look forward to meeting many of our community there.

If you still have not decided if you will be joining us, click on the link above and please read Roland Lemoine, HPE NonStop Product Managers, letter in the News from HPE NS Division in the Connection. NonStop is a long-standing solid critical platform, and those using it are organisations that are prone to the threat of security breaches, coupled with the advancement of AI. TBC will be an investment you cannot afford to miss.

We are carrying on with our Security theme since InfoSec recently took place in Europe. Also, how many of your CISOs now have the dilemma of blocking GenAI tools like ChatGPT? Have you thought about changing your Acceptable Use Policy to remind individuals of their accountability to keep your organisation safe?

Did you investigate if you also are impacted by the Progress MoveIT vulnerability? Do you even know what your downstream impact was? Did you consider reaching out to all your Third Parties to validate? If not, then I would recommend it for good due diligence.

Don’t miss our feature article from comforte, “Achieving Enterprise Security and Compliance with a Data-Centric Approach.” Thomas Gloerfeld gives us an in-depth takeaway into the latest trends in Enterprise Security.

As always, you can join the conversations in our Slack workspace. Please enjoy this issue of The Connection, and I look forward to seeing many of you at TBC soon!

Best regards,
Sue Robinson
