On May 2nd, N2TUG’s members came together for our 2024 meeting.  This year, the larger community of NonStop is celebrating 50 years since Tandem Computers first formed to create the NonStop platform, and we took the opportunity to celebrate!  Our theme was “Golden: 50 Years of NonStop.”

HPE hosted the MATUG meeting on May 14 in their offices in the Reston Town Center, Virginia. The day began and ended with two interesting HPE presentations: John Vollers (Solution Architect) presented HPE Strategy and NonStop Roadmap, and John Zimsky (Master Engineer) presented Deploying REST Applications to NonStop.

Every year, for the past 25 years, a technical event is held in Canada by a group called CTUG (Canadian Tandem Users Group).  Originally,  the purpose of the event was to learn and get updated on Tandem technology.
