This year, in Santiago de Chile, we celebrated the inaugural ChileTUG chapter event with both HPE NonStop Customers and Partners.

On May 2nd, N2TUG’s members came together for our 2024 meeting.  This year, the larger community of NonStop is celebrating 50 years since Tandem Computers first formed to create the NonStop platform, and we took the opportunity to celebrate!  Our theme was “Golden: 50 Years of NonStop.”

HPE hosted the MATUG meeting on May 14 in their offices in the Reston Town Center, Virginia. The day began and ended with two interesting HPE presentations: John Vollers (Solution Architect) presented HPE Strategy and NonStop Roadmap, and John Zimsky (Master Engineer) presented Deploying REST Applications to NonStop.

The recent MexTUG event was a resounding success, attracting a record number of attendees and surpassing previous years’ achievements as HPE NonStop leaders, experts, and enthusiasts gathered to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry. Engaging keynotes captivated participants fostering invaluable networking opportunities throughout the day.

What better way to start the annual NonStop Conference calendar than with a trip to SunTUG in Florida?!
Many thanks to Pat, Teri and the SunTUG team for organising a great event and many thanks to all attendees who helped make it one of my favourite events of the year… the less said about our team’s golf performance the better, though!

On 22 June 2021, BITUG held their popular ‘Little SIG’. This is a single-day event specifically targeting the UK NonStop community, and usually includes a number of customer and vendor presentations as well as the latest HPE Roadmap.

Every year, for the past 25 years, a technical event is held in Canada by a group called CTUG (Canadian Tandem Users Group).  Originally,  the purpose of the event was to learn and get updated on Tandem technology.

We had a generally good event this year. We had a good attendance, despite the usual last-minute cancellations and no shows. Customer attendees represented JP Morgan Chase, Fiserv, Bank of America – Merrill Lynch and Western Union.

The CTUG fall conference was another great event. The theme for this year’s event was “NonStop’s Value Today”. There are more reasons to choose NonStop today and we wanted to show how that value continues to grow.
