When you see the Southern Cross for the first time,
You understand now why you came this way.

The year has now left the celebratory times that accompany the holiday seasons. Christmas and the New Year are well and truly behind us as we slowly return from vacations and time spent visiting families. The many upcoming NonStop conferences and events have begun to dominate our calendars. Whether simply regional or something much bigger, like the annual NonStop gatherings in Europe and the US, these events continue to be well worth our investment in time and remain a positive endorsement of all things HPE NonStop.

As an opportunity to hear the presentations from the broadest representation of the NonStop community, such conferences, and events have become the highlight of the year for many of our NonStop customers. Where else can you see a gathering of vendors investing in NonStop in ways that amplify the modernization and integration of NonStop within enterprise Hybrid IT deployments?

Simply stated, and as a reminder of what motivates participation at such events, there is nothing else on the calendar providing a better insight into all things NonStop than joining your peers for education, clarity of direction, and the chance to network with others on the same journey as we find ourselves. There is no substitute for conversations with those who may be just one product deployment ahead of you willing to share their experience and deliver wisdom that otherwise might be missed from reading a data sheet.

“We have found our participation in conferences and events as being the
cornerstone of our marketing endeavors,”
said Daniel Craig, TCM Managing Director.

“No matter where our own journey takes us, and truly, the NonStop customer base
is now spread around the globe, we work diligently to ensure our
own participation. For TCM 2025 is a year where we look forward to heading
south, down to where the southern cross can be viewed, to be among
the NonStop community members celebrating yet another OzTUG gathering.”

Founded in 1988 as NonStop communities blossomed in the Antipodes, NonStop customers in Australia and New Zealand proved stoic supporters of all things NonStop. Their endurance is a testament to the value NonStop provided customers’ enterprises. To this day, there is no escaping that with financial transactions initiated in these countries, at least one and maybe more NonStop systems lie within the path of that transaction.

Recently, we wrote of how differentiating NonStop by its attributes of availability, scalability, and data integrity/security seems to harken back to former times. For TCM, as we have observed the evolution of NonStop systems and solutions through the years, we have become increasingly involved in safeguarding the ongoing presence of NonStop. It is then only natural for TCM to be attending NonStop community events no matter how far away they may be, as it is central to our mission to help the NonStop customer advance the presence of NonStop within their enterprise.

The value proposition of NonStop continues to prove very important. Being almost as good as NonStop doesn’t come close to being NonStop. The many news stories circulating about “glitches and technical faults” are a reminder of why NonStop remains as relevant today as it was at any time in the past. The value proposition comes from NonStop delivering on its attributes right out of the box, with no need for layering complex infrastructure software to make it all work.

“There is no hiding the enthusiasm we all have here at TCM to be among
NonStop community members and for me in particular, taking that flight
down south to that part of the world I know so well, makes it
special for me,”
said Collin Yates, TCM Technical Director.

“We have experience in the region and are fully aware of the skillsets
on NonStop customer sites we have supported and it’s always good to
renew friendships and to continue engagement with them all, customers and vendors alike.”

TCM has been gearing up to address more proactively the need to provide consultation on the real value proposition of NonStop. With this in mind, we are stepping up our presence in NonStop community events worldwide. Not just with our participation in the upcoming NonStop community OzTUG events in Australia, but worldwide. TCM knows that challenges lie ahead and the onus is on us to bring to market the services that best enhance the capabilities, indeed longevity of NonStop within an enterprise. When it comes to keeping HPE NonStop running 24 x 7, we can assure NonStop customers that this is much more than marketing hype, as TCM routinely delivers on this promise.

“TCM sees this as an opportunity for growth. With a presence already established in the Middle East, where support comes from our EMEA team, together with some experience gained already in Australia,” said Daniel Craig, “visibility into regions exhibiting the potential for growth represents an effort to grow our business while bringing to these NonStop customers more awareness of just how modern NonStop systems have become.”

Australia and, indeed, AP/J may be a distant marketplace, but closer to home, TCM will be a major participant supporting E-BITUG in Dublin this June and NonStop Business and Technology Conference (formerly, the NonStop TBC Conference) in Houston this September. The TCM team is looking forward to both events where you will hear more from us about further actions to increase the drive to modernization that we see as an important consideration for the NonStop base. With fifty years of presence in the marketplace, supporting multiple market verticals has set the stage for further prosperity, and nowhere else can this be experienced firsthand than at NonStop conferences and events.

“Being nostalgic about the past, as we have been doing of late, may be
all well and good but it is the future that compels us to front as many
NonStop community events as is possible,” said Collin Yates.

“There’s always a good conversation to be had about the modernization
of NonStop and of course, the imminent arrival of new members of the
NonStop systems family that our eyes, indeed our vision is firmly
set on what comes next. And the future looks good even as with experience
and history, we understand now why you came this way.”

We look forward to your company as we travel the globe supporting NonStop customers. Yes, OzTUG was our first major outing. TCM’s Daniel Craig and Collin Yates are heading back home after spending time in Australia, having thoroughly enjoyed the events where they met with some great people and saw firsthand how enthusiastic the local NonStop community continues to be.

Someone may have remarked, “It’s not the years but the mileage,” and now understand the implications. Supporting the NonStop community will see TCM repeating its support for NonStop communities worldwide. When it comes to the majors, consider this your encouragement to come see us in 2025 at eBITUG in Dublin and again at the NonStop Business and Technology Conference in Houston.
