Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is Cody Newton, and I serve as President and CEO of Network Technologies International, Inc. (NTI). I am proud to be part of a company that delivers mission-critical solutions to some of the industry’s most respected enterprises.

I joined NTI in June 2013 — a decision that has proven to be one of the most rewarding of my career. What initially attracted me to NTI was the combination of a highly technical, mission-critical product portfolio and the opportunity to help shape the company’s long-term growth trajectory. It was clear the organization had a strong foundation — deep expertise, loyal customers, and a respected reputation — and I saw the opportunity to build upon that.

Stepping into a leadership role has been especially meaningful because of the strength of the team and the platform for growth that existed then — and continues to exist today. Leadership at NTI is not about reinvention; it is about stewardship, modernization, and disciplined expansion.

Personal Perspective

Columbus, Ohio has been a wonderful place to build both a career and a family. I am truly blessed with a wonderful wife and three incredible children. In our free time, we enjoy being outdoors — hiking, riding bikes and scooters, and playing sports together. The balance Columbus provides between business opportunity and family life has made it an ideal place to put down long-term roots.


My Focus Today

My focus today is building a durable, growth-oriented company that our customers and employees can rely on.

The DRNet® product portfolio sits at the core of NTI’s mission — serving the Nonstop community and broader financial infrastructure markets with real-time data replication and resilience. Our customers depend on us to move data, modernize middleware, enable hybrid IT deployments, and increasingly integrate streaming and messaging architectures that align with evolving business requirements.

What motivates me each day is knowing that our software supports mission-critical financial systems. That responsibility is significant.

As markets evolve and technology shifts — from hybrid architectures to Kafka-based streaming and now AI integration — we must remain aligned with where our customers are going, not just where they are today.

I am motivated by aligning strategy, commercial growth, and people development — modernizing the portfolio, strengthening customer relationships, nurturing our partner ecosystem, and creating an environment where our team performs at the highest level.


Customer Engagement

Customer engagement is a significant and intentional part of my role — and one I value greatly. While I am responsible for overall strategy and company direction, I remain closely involved in key customer relationships and major commercial discussions.

Leadership should remain connected to the market. Direct engagement provides clarity on product direction, pricing models, competitive positioning, and emerging requirements. In our industry, trust and continuity matter — and that connection is central to how I lead.

What impresses me most about working at NTI today is the consistency and dedication of the team.

We operate in an environment where mistakes are simply not tolerated — we support mission-critical financial infrastructure — and yet our team executes with calm professionalism and technical precision. There is very little ego, a strong sense of ownership, and deep accountability.

Many of our team members have been with NTI for years, creating institutional knowledge and continuity that cannot be easily replicated. It is a team that quietly delivers at a very high level.

We are now expanding into AI enablement within the Nonstop ecosystem through solutions such as uLinga Nexus — delivered and supported by NTI — which enhances Nonstop accessibility from AI clients and modern protocols.

Strategically, our focus remains modernization without disruption — helping customers transition from legacy environments such as GoldenGate or RDF into high-performance, lower-risk architectures built around DRNet®/Core and our broader portfolio.

    In my current position, I oversee the entire operations of five separate entities. Our main priority is our U.S. software company and Irish distributor, as well as two property management companies used as a holiday homes rental business.

I love customer relationship management and learning the needs of our customers in order to improve our product or services. I believe fostering a team-oriented environment is vital to understand all problems and potential solutions from all angles and perspectives before making a true decision. I am truly passionate about the companies I direct, and want nothing more than to see them perform at their greatest efficiency and maximize potential. In my career, I have built a reputation for strategic planning to create a more responsible budget to cut unnecessary costs and spend in areas that can create growth and long-term sustainability.
