What a great Mextug ‘25 it was! A full day spent talking about the future of the HPE NonStop platform and the valuable technology around it. Every year we are happy to see how the NonStop community in Mexico grows and how, more and more, we keep seeing new -and young- faces learning and working the platform. It was just a very exciting and meaningful day for all of us involved.

First and foremost, we would like to thank all of the NonStop Customers that had the opportunity to be with us that day. Your participation and engagement is what makes this event possible. We are certain that it was as valuable for you as it was for all the NonStop Partners that came to Mexico City to be with us that day. Thank you, HPE and Partners, for your continued support and investment in Mexico. Your commitment to the NonStop is key to the growth of this amazing community. We cannot wait to see you all back in Mexico in 2026!
Our Chapter President, Edgar Veloz, provided a welcoming message and introduced Fabian Manfredi, HPE NonStop Business Manager, who provided a complete update about NonStop technology, demonstrating that the HPE NonStop, as mission-critical infrastructure, is stronger than ever with an even brighter future ahead. There is a lot to look forward in the years to come!
The day was spent talking about all of the amazing solutions and technology that revolve around NonStop. From cybersecurity to a more specific data-centric security. From Payments to replication. Partners covered a wide range of valuable topics that kept attendees engaged and wanting to hear more. These solutions and technology are a critical part of the success and strength of the NonStop and ultimately, what helps it close the true continuity and high availability cycle.
Throughout the day there were countless opportunities to network and to keep building bridges inside the community. As the event came to an end, everyone stayed and shared hors d’oeuvres and a drink … or two, while sharing experiences and fun memories of how the community has grown.
Special thanks to Jose Luis Ortega, Business Development Director at NTI, who took some time to remember our late colleague Manuel Sunderland who passed away in June 2024. Manuel spent his life working on NonStop and even took part in the decision process to bring the first Tandem to Mexico while he was working for a pharmaceutical Company called Drogueros. Manuel spent his last professional days in the NonStop world as account executive for XYPRO Technology until his retirement in 2017. He always stayed in touch with former colleagues and never stopped attending MexTUG and bringing value to the table. He is greatly missed by many.
