She was a Distinguished Technologist at HPE/HP/Compaq/Tandem, with a long career as a security, availability and system architect, and is the original author of the NonStop Security Technical Overview (with a lot of help from her friends). Outside of the computer world she enjoys hanging out with Joel, choral singing, gardening and staying active.
