A Note From Connect Leadership

July-August 2020

August 2020, where to even start…  As I write this note to our community, things in the US are still uncertain vis-à-vis Covid-19, but I know as a community, we will continue to thrive and do great things! HPE had a virtual Discover event that was pretty well received, things are still in the planning stage for the NonStop Technical Boot Camp, and I am sure we will have a great event no matter what format it will be. We have also had a few great NonStop virtual events, so things are continuing, albeit in different formats.

Our community is strong and continues to grow! As folks learn to work in a new fashion, we are finding new and creative ways to make things happen. In the US, the majority of companies have gone to virtual workspaces, and we at Connect have done the same. Our Slack channel has never been busier, I encourage folks to join and chat with their fellow IT professionals. We have many channels that provide great content and a true sense of community.

Our publications continue to be well received, and we hope you are finding value in them. Drop us a note and let us know what type of content you’d like to see, and we will do our best to provide it.

Stay safe (and wear a mask if you can),
Marty Edelman
Connect Worldwide President
