Nonstop Trends and Wins

In this month’s Trends & Wins I am very happy to be reporting a win. This is a message that was sent by Neil Davis regarding a major Bank upgrade/migration.

“Last year one of our largest banking customers, who rely on HPE Nonstop to run their core retail and mobile banking applications, reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Nonstop by signing a new multimilliondollar HPE GreenLake agreement. A Nonstop customer of more than 40 years, and an existing HPE Nonstop GreenLake customer, they elected to refresh using HPE GreenLake Flex for Nonstop. This move enables variable, consumption based pricing and upgrades their environment to the fourth generation of x86based HPE Nonstop systems (NS8 X4), securing the platform for the next five years.

Over the past year, HPE and the bank have worked closely to implement and test approximately 130 applications running on the Nonstop platform. This program culminated last weekend (April 2026) with the successful cutover of the final applications to the new systems for live production use. Given the scale of the environment and the fact that most of the applications are homegrown, this was an extensive project. Its successful completion is a strong testament to HPE Nonstop’s ability to carry forward customers’ most critical applications unchanged, generation after generation, while continuing to meet the highest standards of availability and reliability.

I appreciate Neil sending the message and want to add that the many Nonstop teams around the world are always ready to assist our customers with migrations, testing, Proof of Concepts and whatever else is required to ensure a customer’s continued success.
